UFVs Architectural Drafting program is designed to prepare you for entry-level drafting positions in fields related to architecture, including architectural. The American Design Drafting Association offers certification for architectural drafters, which includes passing a written examination and demonstrating a certain level of work experience.

This 18-credit occupational endorsement may be earned in two semesters and represents a significant portion of the education required for the Drafting Technology Certificate. Professional certification is not required to become an architectural drafter, but it can be beneficial in the job market. The occupational endorsement for Drafting Technician provides education and training to students to qualify for entry level drafting and construction documentation preparation.
